TECH THEATRE

Behind every spotlight, there's a story—and we build it.

MDN Tech Theatre

At Marcos de Niza Tech Theatre, students don’t just learn how to run a show—they design, innovate, and lead. From lighting and sound to set construction and stage management, we turn creativity into craft and curiosity into career skills. Whether you're behind the board or behind the scenes, this is where passion meets production.

This isn't just tech. This is theatre—engineered by students, powered by imagination.

OSHA

OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, is a U.S. agency that promotes safe working conditions by enforcing workplace safety standards. Students can earn the OSHA 10 certification by completing a 10-hour training course that teaches basic safety and health practices for entry-level workers.

CTE

CTE, or Career and Technical Education, prepares students for a wide range of high-demand careers by combining academic knowledge with technical and hands-on skills. As part of their training, students can take the Backstage Exam to demonstrate their understanding of behind-the-scenes roles in theater, film, and live productions.
